Sentricon® Baiting Program

Bowman Termite & Pest Management is a Sentricon® System Authorized Operator. The Sentricon® Termite Colony Elimination System is a subterranean termite treatment and is recommended by Bowman to treat an active subterranean termite infestation.

We monitor homes every fifteen (15) days until the termites have been eliminated. After elimination we will monitor the stations around your home on a monthly basis.

Bowman Termite uses the Sentricon® Termite Colony Elimination System with electronic monitoring technology to detect and record termite activity inside each Sentricon station.

Why Choose the Sentricon System over liquid treatments?

Liquid chemical treatments involve treating the soil around and under your home with hundreds of gallons of chemicals in an attempt to create a barrier between the termite colony and the home. This is accomplished by trenching around the home and drilling holes in your sidewalks or lanai. The chemical solution is injected into the soil and under your concrete walkways and lanai. This option can be very disruptive to your home and landscaping.

It is difficult to distribute the chemical thoroughly, and from the day it is applied the chemical starts to deteriorate. Most of these treatments must be redone within five years, especially here in Hawaii with the constant rainfall.

These treatments are yesterday's technology and, at their best, provide only a short-term fix, not a permanent solution.
With the Sentricon System, there is no drilling, no mess and no odors.
